It's a Wonderful Life
Yes, yes, I'm watching it again..lol. It's my all-time favorite movie and I actually watch it all through the year and not just during Christmas. I like my DVD of it so much better than the TV version. They cut a lot out of it for TV and this version has it all. Little tidbits and scenes that really help you understand the premise.
Being Christian, I also really like that they start the movie with prayers being sent up for George Bailey. I also like that the family prays for George. One of the children asks if he should pray for Father. The mom says, "Yes, pray very hard."
It's a story of hope and what things would be like if an individual never existed. How people's lives all around are impacted by your very existence in this world, and that God's plan for you affects more than just you.
