One sad moment

While I was at Mama's I had one very sad moment. I don't even know what brought it on. It just washed over me like a tide and came flooding into my soul and out my eyes.

That happens every now and then. There's no predicting it and no preventing it. It's sudden, like an attack of grief that I can't fend off no matter how I try to talk myself out of it.

I wonder when those raw feelings will ever go away?
