Not so bad at work tonight

We got all the pre-closing tasks done as we should so that it only took about 40 minutes to finish up after we locked the doors. That's the way it's really supposed to work. And it does work that way when everyone does their part.

Of course, it doesn't always happen that way and I'm trying to figure out how to motivate people to do their assigned tasks without being a slave driver. I do try to use a pleasant tone of voice and I always thank them for accomplishing the task. The truth is, the crew is supposed to do these things because it's part of their job. But for some, it's as if they are doing you a favor to even begin them.
