Sunday stuff
Yes, it's Monday but I didn't get on here much yesterday to say anything.
We all slept pretty late yesterday. Elizabeth wanted to go to church with us. She called early to say so, which woke me up but that was ok. I told her we'd be leaving at 2:30 and she said she'd be here.
I went back to sleep for awhile, then got up and got myself ready. I got Brandon and Kevin up to get ready after I was done. That way I didn't feel so rushed.
E got here right at 2:30 and we headed out. I'll relate the sermon in another post, as it was a good one. There was a dinner afterwards celebrating the church's 24th anniversary. The youth group catered it. We dined on barbecue pork, baked beans, cole slaw, macaroni & cheese, then anniversary cake for dessert. It was all really good. The youth, under the direction of the pastor's wife, did an excellent job with the food and the serving.
