Bad time at work

During my shift last night, I wound up in a lot of pain from my back down my legs. I don't think I turned wrong and I know I didn't lift anything heavy, but it wore on me pretty badly to the point that all I wanted to do was come home.

I didn't come home, though. I took some pain reliever and stayed at work. But I still had breakthrough pain during the evening. Pain like that is, to say the least, distracting and it's hard to be cheerful to the customers while enduring it. I put up my best front, though, and forged ahead with my job.
