Running the shift
I got my first chance at running the shift at McDonald's last night. I've been doing a little by running just areas, but this time it was just me, with a little help from Brandon. I was nervous, of course, and not everything went perfectly but it was ok.
It was fairly slow, thank goodness, so we got our pre-closing tasks done as we should. I was glad for that since it meant we could get out of there a little sooner. Eventually, I'll be able to completely run a shift including all the closing money tasks and nightly inventory. For now, though, I'm glad Brandon is there to coach me through all that.
