Kissimmee hotels

I have been to Kissimmee once in my life, I think. That was when I was driving a truck and I was there during the Independence Day holidays, which meant Orlando and outlying areas were really no place for a truck to be. It was beautiful down there, though, and I always thought I'd like to go back someday - NOT driving a truck.

While Disney World is nearby, that's not the only thing to do there. There are 52 theme parks within short driving distance of the Kissimmee hotels, as well as golf courses and other activities to participate in. Of course, there's the beach just 40 minutes away, too. I've only seen the ocean or the Gulf from the window of a truck. I'd love to walk in the warm sand and let the water lap up over my feet just once in my life, and not have to rush away to attend to my job or other business.

Just about everything in the area is family friendly, which would have been a great trip when the kids were younger. But there's plenty for an adult to participate in, too, and maybe we could all take a trip down there and have some R & R.
