What a day!
Since we normally don't work very early in the daytime, and since we've been working yesterday and today on day shifts, I'm now totally worn out. Not that the work is any more difficult or anything. It's just a different time of day to be doing the work.
At least I'm learning more about the breakfast shift, though, so that's a real benefit.
I had hoped since we actually were scheduled to get off at 4 PM, that we'd be home no later than 5. It didn't happen that way, though. We worked a bit longer because we got a huge rush of little tiny baseball players that had just won a three foot trophy for their team. It was a madhouse for awhile. Between those who came inside, and filled the lobby, and those who went through drive-through, the joint was jumping for about an hour or so.

So, did you get to feeling better? Was it the flu, do you think? I was praying for you.

Yes, I'm feeling better now but it's still lingering a bit. I think it was the flu. Several workers at McD's have had this. I continually wash and sanitize my hands to try to keep from it rebounding on me.
