The end of a long day

It's almost 2 AM. We've been home nearly an hour from work. I'm tired, yet still wound up so here I sit, blogging.

The steam burn on my hand is starting to blister up. It's still very red, too, and looks worse than it feels now. I didn't get my hands into dishwater or anything at work since I knew that would really be bad for it. I guess my biggest problem is forgetting my hand is burned and trying to use it normally, then it hurts.

My feet, back, and legs hurt really badly tonight, too. I forgot to take my pain med to work with me, which means I didn't get my evening dose of it. I can sure tell the difference! Brandon knew I was hurting at work and didn't put too much "on me", but I still stayed busy so it wouldn't look to others like I was slacking.

At least Tuesday we don't have to work, but we do have several things lined up to do, so we won't get a lot of rest, either. Busy, busy!

Ann, you need to get an aloe plant.
If you are not familiar with it, it is sometimes called a burn plant. The aloe is nice green green potted plant. Does very well on very little water. The juices and meat inside the spikes are great for any type of burn. You can probably find a small one at K-mart or Wal-mart.

Thanks. I thought about that when I burned my hand...lol. I'm going to be looking for one on my next trek to town. I think my sis has several so maybe I can get a small one from her next time I see her.
