Brandon snores

Brandon fell asleep on the couch the other night and was snoring loudly. Sometimes his friends say that when Brandon’s asleep, he even stops breathing for a few seconds, then gasps loudly. He didn’t do that while on the couch, but I kept listening for it. I wonder if he has a sleeping disorder?

He has an uncle that uses a CPAP machine due to sleep disorder. At least he used to. Sometimes I wonder if Brandon needs treatment using the machine and a CPAP mask. He seems to have the symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea, and I’d hate for this to go on too long and cause heart damage.

I know that a sleep disorder can be treated by the above mentioned methods. Brandon often complains of being tired when he wakes up, and sometimes has a headache, too. Those are further symptoms and bear looking into. With the online resource available to help determine if this is sleep apnea or not, and to point to treatments, I really have no excuse not to do so. They have plenty of menu choices to research the problem. They also have tips for getting a better night’s sleep.
