Pantyhose
Thursday I got three pairs of black pantyhose at Fred's Discount store. I got them to wear to work. The selection was pretty limited. So limited, that there really wasn't any choice. It was these or nothing.
I was really looking for light support hose like I've been wearing to work. They really do seem to help my legs not get so tired. I'm hoping they'll also help delay those awful veins popping up on my legs.
Anyway, they had no such animal as those light support hose, so I got what I could and came home. When it was time to get dressed for work, I opened a package of the new black hose. Now let me tell you, I don't know how they figured length, but a woman 9 feet tall would have had a hard time using these hose without them bagging about the ankles.
I tried to wear them. Really I did. But before we left I wound up taking them off and getting an old pair of black light support hose out to wear. They had a run above the knee so I put nail polish on it to keep it from going on down my leg, then headed to work.
I don't know what I'll do with the other two pairs of black hose. I can't use them, and I don't know any woman who can. Guess it's a lesson hard learned - you get what you pay for. They cost $1 per pair.
