Wonderful Wednesday

Yes, that was yesterday. But since I didn't get to journal about it, I thought I'd do that today.

We actually didn't have to work Wednesday. That meant we should have gotten a ton done around here. Ok. It didn't happen. But I did complete another knitted baby wash cloth. I got started on another one and that will make three to give to the girl at work at her shower Saturday.

For our lunch yesterday, I fixed rigatoni with spaghetti sauce and the leftover chicken I had for the Mexican food the other day. We had tossed salad with it and cheese toast. I think I related how I fixed the cheese toast in a previous post, but if you don't find it let me know and I'll republish it. It's very good and not what you'd expect at all.

We went to church last night and the evangelist who is a member there preached. He's very good, of course. He and his family just got back from a camp meeting in Indiana and were certainly refreshed and lively last night.

We also had a visitor. He and his family used to attend church there, but they moved back to Pennsylvania where their extended family all lives. He used to play the acoustic guitar, the trumpet, and on special occasions would blow the shofar. He's a street evangelist and used to minister in Memphis. He's very interesting to talk to and very grounded in the Lord.
