A change of plans

Kevin talked to Julie, our GM at McDonalds, and she said he didn't really have to go to work tonight. That it's slow and they don't necessarily need him there. This is good news because now I don't have to take him which means I'll be here when Elizabeth gets here for supper.

Kevin strolled into the kitchen and said,"Hmm. Beans and greens. Got any cornbread?" lol Yes, indeed, it's in the oven now. I have a big bowl of leftover rice, so I'll warm that up or we can warm it on our plates.
