Guess who's coming to dinner?

Elizabeth, that's who. In fact, she left a message on Brandon's voice mail saying she is planning to come over Wednesday evening and cook dinner for us. I have no clue what she's planning to cook - if she's bringing something or going to use what's here.

She's had a hankering for pinto beans lately, so I'm thinking maybe I should get them started. Even if she planned something else, it never hurts to have some pintos cooked and ready to eat.

I'll fix a skillet of cornbread, too. That way, it'll be done before she gets here. No matter what she fixes, I'd like to have at least some things prepared beforehand. Sometimes she underestimates how long it takes for things to finish cooking, but basically she's a very good cook.
