I hate borrowing money

Nobody hates it worse than me, I think. Well, maybe they do but it's hard to imagine. This past year, especially toward the beginning of 2006, I was in dire financial straits. As badly as I needed the money, I sure hated asking anyone for it. But, I needed to pay bills such as electric, water, rent. You get the picture. Survival bills, not just things on a wish-list.

My sister stepped in and helped me many times. She's not wealthy, but she has a little and is willing to help. If it were not for her, I might have been very bad off indeed. See, I wasn't working yet. I was a recent widow and no job openings seemed to be coming my way. If I had been working, I might have been desperate enough to try to get payday cash advance loans to tide me over. But I'm not convinced those are a very good idea since you do still have to pay them back plus interest. However, if a person knew for sure their next payday would be a lot better than the last one, they might be inclined to seek such a loan just to get them "over the hump", so to speak.

As for me, I'd rather borrow from my sister.
