Oh deer
I ate supper with Elizabeth. She fixed a wonderful meal of deer tenderloin, sliced thin, marinated, and fried. She also fixed mashed potatoes, green beans, home made biscuits, and home made macaroni and cheese. I fixed gravy for her to serve from the drippings in the skillet the deer was fried in. A hearty meal that was so comforting and warm on a nippy day like today.
I went to eat with her after church. While I was there I trimmed her little dog's nails, too. (She'd called and asked me to bring the doggie nail trimmers with me.)
When I got home, all I wanted was a nap. I guess the good food made me sleepy!
