All my children
Not the soap opera, of course. I am just glad that all my children but one live nearby so that it's not really too hard to get in contact with them. Even the one who lives in Mississippi can be contacted on instant messenger, so that's not too bad.
I've thought in the past about how it might be, though, if we all lived hundreds or even thousands of miles apart. I realize that when children grow up and make their own lives, they sometimes move to far away locations. If that occurred, then maybe we could set up web conferencing from time to time in order to have a real face-to-face visit. These days, such things are possible and aren't limited to business applications. The fees are reasonable considering the service provided and it's sure a lot cheaper than long distance phone calls all over the place.
