Ever wonder?
Did you ever wonder how places like Walmart know where to place products in their stores? Or exactly when to move them around? They know this through painstaking market research.
I noticed not long ago, for instance, that there is an entirely pink aisle at both Walmart and Target. What's in that aisle is little girls' toys, mostly Barbie dolls and accessories. See, no matter how hard progressive parents may try to raise girls and boys in a gender-neutral environment, the plain truth is that little girls will be drawn to a pink aisle in the store and will want to browse through the many girly offerings there. A similar concept works for boys, too, as the boys' toy aisle will be resplendent with camo and chrome covered cars and commandos.
I guess, in the final analysis, girls will always be girls and boys will always be boys.

Hehe, I had not noticed the aisle coloring, but that's a very wise marketing strategy. That said, my girls are digging the camo these days. Do you know how much harder that makes it to sort the laundry?????

Around here, the girls tend to wear a lot of camo, too. I think it's a southern thang..lol. Some girls wear pink camo! But yes, I can imagine it's hard to sort laundry that all looks alike!
