Getting the dishes done
I've just loaded and started the dishwasher for the second time in the past little while. See, there was a ton of dishes on the table and in the sinks. It's pretty aggravating when you understand that Brandon and I probably only eat meals here about 3 times a week. I guess "someone" else here eats and doesn't bother to clean up her mess.
There are other things that need doing in the kitchen as well. There are some things I only wash by hand, such as the electric skillet and all my Old Hickory knives. So I'll run a little sink of hot, soapy dishwater and get those done toot sweet.
Brandon and I were talking earlier about the fact that maybe when the boarders are all moved out, we can actually have a tidier house and real food meals. We'll both also feel less stressed. The mess here gets me all nervous and I wind up snapping at everyone, especially those at work. It's wrong of me to do that.
But hearing that dishwasher running and knowing the dishes are that close to all being clean and put away gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
Yes, I'm a true homebody.
