Ticket broker

I've been commenting lately to Brandon that I can't remember the last time I did anything just for fun. I work. I shop. I come home. That's it. I'd like to go to a movie or a concert, but it's hard to go out anywhere when you're alone, as I am. That's just not much fun at all. I wonder what it would take to be able to get out for an evening and not have errands to run or chores to do?

In fact, I'm beginning to think that even a new york ticket broker couldn't find a fun activity for me unless I had someone to go with. I do have church friends and work friends, but no one who would really be free for an evening out. After all, they're married and taking care of families. It would be very odd for them to drop that to go with me, don't you think?

All this is making me pretty grumpy of late, as well. I don't think it's good for anyone to continually only do their duty and never have any diversions where they can let their hair down and just be themselves.

Got any ideas what sort of organization I might be able to become involved in where I could meet new people?
