Digital pictures

I try taking digital pictures inside my house, but they always wind up having the golden glow to them. Then I have to adjust them in a photo program to get rid of that and try to get the true color into them. I think part of my problem is the lighting in here. I use the compact fluorescent bulbs all through the house, and while the room is bright to the eye, the camera is seeing something else.

I think I'm going to have to invest in a couple of regular lights to point at objects I'm photographing. A new, better camera probably wouldn't be a bad idea either!
