Saturday cooking

I was able to use a package of the marinara chicken in a batch of spaghetti I made for our supper. While the chicken didn't have a lot of marinara sauce on it, adding it to my own spaghetti sauce (I had some in the freezer) bumped up the taste appeal. We ate heartily, and the spaghetti was delicious.

All the chicken I got will really come in handy. My dear Mom repackaged it all into meal-sized portions for me before she stored it in her freezer. That way, it didn't freeze together in a lump that couldn't be chiseled apart when I was ready to use it. See, it came in a large bulk bag and would have been a mess to deal with had it all been frozen the way it came!
