Rain+chilly=Tired

I always wonder what makes people think of McDonald's on such a rainy, chilly day as this was? If I had a choice, I'd just stay at home. Yet, it seems like there was no lull in business during my whole shift.

The manager of the shift just before ours said it had been that way all morning since opening time.

I was wishing we had chili or stew or some kind of soup to eat instead of just sandwiches and salads. So, during my break, I went to a nearby Chinese restaurant and got wonton soup and house fried rice to have for my meal. It was very good and very warming on a day like this.

Still, I'm really tired tonight. I think the weather is just makes me feel more tired. I'd like to stay home, warm and cozy, and bake bread or make chili instead of going to work.
