Chore time

The dishwasher's running now. I've bagged up the trash and the washer is going. Soon, I can put clothes in the dryer and start a load of towels in the washer.

It's a thrill a minute around here, isn't it? Yet, this is more what I want to do than anything. I like being home. I even like doing the chores here, although lately I haven't had time to get my house where it really needs to be, clean-wise.

Long work hours late at night translate into a very tired Ann at home.

I think the temperature is dropping outside. I turned the heat up a bit. It's windly and the wind is coming out of the north. I expect it will be quite cold tonight.

I need to still cook a little something and also get stuff out of the fridge to see what's good and what needs tossing. Whatever's still good will be part of our main meal today. The rest will go to our outside dog.

Oh, and by the way, I took the gift tote for the pregnamt girl with me to work last night, but she was whisked off to the hospital before I could give it to her. I'll give it later, when she gets back home with the new baby. I sure wish I'd hear an update about her, though.

I am dreading tomorrow. I'll tell you why later.
