Church folks
A couple of days ago, one of the men of the church called me at work. Yes, in the middle of my shift he called to find out if we'd quit the church or what. I assured him we hadn't but that our current work schedule made it hard for us to get there lately.
Then on Tuesday evening, two more church members showed up at McDonald's, albeit at different times. Both were ladies and both were inquiring as to our whereabouts on Sundays of late. I told them the same thing I'd told the man before.
Still, I wonder if we shouldn't be changing to the church that holds service at 3 in the afternoon on Sundays? We know a lot of folks there and do enjoy the services. Plus, they are doctrinally sound in most areas. (I don't know of any church around here that adheres to 100% of all New Testament Scriptures.)
