Winter or summer?

I don't really know now what season of the year it is here in Arkansas. First, we had freezing temperatures that knocked the last of the green off the grass and trees. Now we have temperate weather that may urge the blossoms on the jasmine to burst forth.

Honestly, I like the latter the best but I know it won't last. We could be in for some very harsh winter weather just when we get used to the warmer temperatures. Isn't that the way it always works?
