I need furniture!
I have a futon sofa and it's had it. These boys, and other boys, who sit on it never actually just sit down. It's like they start down then let gravity do the rest as they land on it. As a result, it's a bit dipped in the center now and one arm leans in at a dangerous angle. When I sit on it, I feel like I need a hoist to get me back up again, it's so low now!
Looks like I'll be saving my money for awhile to get a new sofa. This time, I want one with very thick, comfortable cushions. I want one with fat arms. I want one that's fabric but it needs to be able to be cleaned if necessary. And I'm pretty sure it'll be necessary from time to time.
So, I'm looking around websites and perusing the ads that come in the mail. Soon it'll be time for those mid-winter, President's Day sales at the furniture stores, and I want to be ready with the cash in hand to buy myself a new sofa.
Of course, if what I want is higher priced than the actual money I have saved, I may have to look into financing it. You all know how I feel about financing already, but maybe I can get a deal on a new sofa and online furniture financing at the same time? GE consumer financing has some pretty good options to consider, such as 90 days no interest and no payments. That might give me enough time to completely save the cash and just pay the sofa off entirely, while still being able to enjoy a new piece of furniture in the house.
Now, I have to be perfectly honest and tell you I really like pioneer or western styling. For instance, I'd love to have Mission Style furniture and use a Native American style rug in the floor. To me, that furniture fashion is just homey and comfortable while also being durable. In fact, this whole set is right up my alley and the only thing I'd change is the area rug in the floor.
