Chicken day!

Yes, finally, I can fry that chicken and have a yummy lunch for us. Since we go in to work at 2, we'll have lunch at the normal lunch time of noon. That way we'll have time to eat and get ready for work, and maybe clean up all the lunch mess, too.

It's chilly today, and overcast and dreary. A good hot lunch of comfort food will make us all feel better, I think. I slept a little late because it is so dark. I just didn't want to drag myself out from under the covers this morning. To be honest, on a day like this I don't want to leave the house, either, but I have to. Maybe the fact that I'm getting paid today will boost my spirits a little..lol
