Late night update

It's cold! Sheesh. I guess we finally got winter here. It rained about 5 or 6 inches over the past few days. The rain stopped and cold air flowed right in behind it.

At least we didn't have to work so late tonight. Got off at 10, which is early compared to the normal getting-off time of midnight or later.

I talked to Elizabeth on the phone a bit ago and we cemented our Saturday plans to go couch shopping. We'll go in the morning, then have a birthday lunch in town. If we find me a couch, then Josh will bring it home for me.

I'm really looking forward to this. The first new real couch in a very long time. The last one we got was a futon, and it really hasn't held up very well. Of course, it was a Walmart cheapie, so I should have expected that.
