Mission style decorating

To expound a bit more on the Mission Style of decorating, just thing of furniture that appears handmade, with squarishness (is that a word?) to it. Some exposed wood. For instance, the arms of a sofa might look a bit like a fence with upright wooden slats every inch or so along them.

It has a sturdy appearance and can be enhanced with things like Navajo rugs or throws, terra cotta pots or Native American baskets and pottery.

It's really comfortable and it's durable.

I'd like to get a couple of side tables and a couple of trunks in the Mission Style. I'd use the cube shaped trunks as spare storage space for a few things like yarns, but they'd also serve as small coffee tables. I'd like to get a floorcloth in a Native American theme. Better yet, I'd like to design and paint my own floorcloth.

I'm sure there are more things I'll think of as I go along.
