Winter weekend

From all accounts, we do have a severe winter storm heading our way. It's due to arrive around Sunday, they are saying. This means batten down the hatches for us. I've got to be sure we have plenty of propane and plenty of bottled water and food. I'll probably get the water and food after work tonight.

The reason for the water is in case something happens to our community water system. They do a pretty good job of keeping things going but during severe weather, if pipes freeze, it could go badly for a few days.

If we lose power, at least we heat and cook with gas. Which reminds me, I need lamp oil, too, so we'll have light!
