I am totally aggravated

One of my boarders is going to be out the door, and I mean soon. I've had it with him. He's a liar of the lowest order and I've caught him in several lies. I already told him I wouldn't tolerate that in my house, even if he pays rent. I do have to draw the line somewhere.

Then today I was looking at my newest water bill. It's nearly $20 higher than normal because he leaves the water hose on outside when he waters his dog. It leaks badly at the connections, so nearly $20 worth of water has gone down the hill. I was irate about this and let him know in no uncertain terms. He's going to pay me the difference and he promised to remember to turn off the water. I told him not to even use the water hose again. Bring the dog's bucket inside the house, fill it up in the shower, then take it back out again.

Yes, that'll be a lot harder on him but maybe he will remember to turn THAT off!

Sometimes it might be a day or two before I go out to that end of the house where the water hose lives, so no telling how long the water's been running when either I or Brandon discovers it.

I already took into account a higher water usage when I started letting boarders in, but this was far and away too high. In fact, it's the highest my bill has ever been excepting for the time we had a leak under the house.
