Granddaughter's play

I did get to go to my granddaughter's play last night. Brandon was shift manager so he said go, then come to work when the play was over. I'm glad I went. It was such a cute play.

It's put on by the CT2G (Children's Theater to Go). It's not the usual school play. They write and produce children's plays that are performed several times at the University of Central Arkansas. Granddaughter has been in several of them already and she's becoming quite an actress.

This play was called Gidget's Gadget to Bamboozle Beanie and was about a little girl who tried to bug a boy's computer so he couldn't cheat on the Book It! reading program. There were lots of very funny parts and I laughed a lot all the way through it.

Granddaughter played Sleeping Beauty, one of the storybook characters that came out of the haywire computer.

As you can see by the insert on the front of her dress, there are alphabet letters. Of course, this relates to the reading aspect which was the thread of the whole play. :)
