One of those days
Not all that bad, but tiring, nonetheless.
We had lunch with Elizabeth, which was very nice. We do that about once a week now and I always look forward to it. Then we all shopped a bit before Elizabeth had to go to work.
We headed home and took a bit of a break. I actually napped for a few hours and I really needed that! After doing some laundry and running the dishwasher, we decided to head back to town to get a bite of supper and shop for groceries.
Brandon and I didn't get home from that little jaunt until nearly 11 PM, but I really needed to restock the freezer so it was worth the time.
After that, Brandon got on the computer for awhile and I watched a couple of movies. I think the long afternoon nap really ruined my night's sleep more than I expected it to. Since I have to be at work at 11 AM Tuesday, I really should try to get some sleep. But I'm very glad not to have to close Tuesday night. When 6 PM rolls around, I can just clock out and come back home again.
Brandon doesn't have to work Tuesday so he plans to do a few things around here. I hope he gets them done, including dealing with the trash. Although, he'll probably spend the biggest part of the day working on his pickup truck. I did ask him, though, to please start something for supper so we could eat a good meal when we get home.
