Home time
I had the day off Monday. I could have used my time more wisely in the morning, but at least I did get some blogging done on my other blogs.
I spent the afternoon cleaning, going through old papers, tossing out stuff, and generally dusting and sweeping in the living room. See, I've let this room slip far too long. Since this room also has our computer in it, and it seems to be the landing zone for just about everything we bring in the house, it needed a lot of attention.
I honestly had a pretty good time doing all this. There are still a couple of "hot spots" that I'll take care of in just a bit, but doing these things reminded me how much I really love to be home.
I fixed Brandon and I a nice lunch of fried catfish with all the trimmings, and there was enough of that to also have for supper. I wish I had more days off together so I could really set this house to rights. Alas, we have to work Tuesday night, but maybe I can still get some things accomplished Tuesday morning and into the afternoon.
