Kitchen table or bar?

We usually eat at the kitchen table. However, I do have a small bar in my house that I really have never used for anything but another flat surface. I'm thinking it might be a good idea, since it's just usually Brandon and me eating, to get a couple of bar stools and put them there.

It would be a small matter to rearrange a few things and make the bar more functional, as it was intended to be. And since I would like to move anyway, packing those things that are on it and putting them in storage would really help me when we do move.

I thought about packing up the table and chairs from the kitchen, but I think I'd miss them too much. I love that old 4-board kitchen table. It holds the memories of many family meals.
