Elizabeth's job

Elizabeth works for an ophthalmologist in town. She's really liking her job a lot, and they've assigned her with more responsibilities. They reorganized the office structure and the way they deal with patients so now there are more reception desks, each one according to what sort of treatment a patient needs. Elizabeth's is for contact lenses, and that's her particular field there. She has her own desk and she deals with patients on a one by one basis, helping them learn about their contact lenses, offering advice, and fielding phone calls that are directed to her department.

It makes me wonder if she will eventually take courses that will move her up even further? She knows so much already, I'd love to see her advance more.
