Suddenly chilly

Last month, we had record high temperatures in the 100 degree range, and many days without rain. Now, here it is the middle of September and tonight it's only 68 degrees! My thoughts are already turning toward sweaters and warm blankets.

I've got my warmer clothes in the back bedroom closet, so it's time to start switching things around. I know we'll still get some hot days before the cool weather is here to stay, but I find myself a bit too chilly for comfort when the temperature begins to drop like this.

Brandon seems to think it indicates a more severe winter ahead. It's possible, and we're probably due for one with an ice storm or two. I need to lay in some supplies in case that happens.
