Thanksgiving plans

We thought at first that we wouldn't be able to go to Mom's for Thanksgiving, at least not in time to get there for the family dinner. However, our supervisor changed the schedule so that we can be off that day.

Yes, McDonald's opens on Thanksgiving Day, even though it's just for breakfast. However, by the time that part of the schedule is over, then the cleaning up and restocking is done, it's after noon before we could get out of here. Since it's nearly a two hour drive to Mom's, that would put us well after dinner is served.

We had planned to go on up after work and at least visit and maybe eat some of the food, but now we can go early and really enjoy the day.
