Solar homes

The plain truth is, solar and wind energy are both suitable for all kinds of homes. Whether it's new construction or after-market additions, whether it's cozy cabins or luxury homes, almost anyone can join in this crusade to live off the grid and preserve the earth we live on.

Location is important, of course, but given the abundance of sunlight as a free fuel for a home, I believe a family could actually plan the positioning of their home so that the PV cells are facing the best direction to use sunlight as at least part of their home energy.
