Packing to go

I've got just about everything rounded up for my trip to my Mother's house. She lives about 100 miles away, so it's at least a 2 hour drive up there. However, the countryside on the trip is lovely so it doesn't seem like that long a drive when I go.

I'll be taking some of my technology with me and might be able to post while I'm up there. I wish my camera was working so I could take pictures of the area and put them on my laptop while I'm visiting. I'm saving for a new digital camera so maybe soon I can have a better one.

I'm taking my dog Sassy with me, too. Brandon is staying at a friend's house in town, near where we work, so there wouldn't be anyone here to look after her. He suggested I just have Elizabeth stop in and check on her, but Sassy would be upset for the house to be empty that many days.
