Crisp winter days

The recent days here have been sunny and crisply cool. It's a pleasant change from the overcast and rainy days we had before, even though the temperatures are quite a bit lower.

Last week, our state saw some terrible storms including tornadoes and high winds that damaged or destroyed property. One person lost his life in the storms that swept across our state and across the entire southeast region of the country. Thankfully, my area didn't have a tornado but Brandon did say the thunderstorms were pretty rough.

At one point, he came in the house and turned off or unhooked various electrical items. However, when he went back out to the camper, he forgot to fully close the front door. Lots of rain blew in and soaked the floor in front of the door. Now the wood there is looking buckled. About the only thing I can do is get some nails and a hammer and nail down all the pieces that are starting to twist up a bit, so I can open and close the door properly.
