Brandon's car

Brandon has a car now, and it's really cute. It was my daughter Elizabeth's car but she was tired of shifting gears and wants one with an automatic transmission. I was buying her other car and Brandon had paid half of that, so he's using that one to trade in on this one and will give me my part of the investment back on his next payday.

I helped him get his insurance started, so he'll pay that back to me, too. Since he has his insurance and bill of sale, he can drive the car until government offices open back up, then get his assessment and tag. Here, we have 30 days to get all that done. The price was low enough that he doesn't have to pay sales tax on it.

I'm so happy for him! He's worked hard and steady and deserves his own "ride"! And it will help you so much to not have to cart him to and from work! Hallelujah!

I'm happy for him, too, for the reasons you listed! LOL

What a nice car! And I'm sure that it will save you a ton of time and money, not having to drive him to and from work all the time (and you can still carpool if you're working the same shift). Pass my congrats along!

Lizzy, I will, and thanks for stopping by to comment. Can you leave your site url in the comments section? I'd love to visit your site but I never see it in any of your comments.:)

I don't have a site, Ann, but setting up a blog is something I've been thinking about doing in 2008. Not sure anyone would be interested in what I had to say though...it might be mundane and boring, LOL! I don't even know what I'd post about - family I guess, and everyday happenings (although that would get quite repetitive, I think). I'll have to think in it some more.

Lizzy, if you set one up I promise I'll read it! My sister said the same things you just did, but now she has a blog and I think it's pretty cool. http://sixty-something.blogspot.com
