The new store

We got an early start to work. Some went to the store in the other town at 6 AM. The rest of us went in at 7:15. Since the new Walmart was due to have the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony by 8 AM, we all had to be in place and ready to serve food by 7:30.

Let me tell you, a Walmart grand opening is definitely not the place to be if you think it will be a normal, quiet day! There were people lined up outside the doors for at least 30 minutes before the new store was opened. Some chatted with each other out in the cold and light snow. Others waited in their cars, checking their Breguet watches and keeping an eye on the front doors of the store.

The location of this new store is in an upper-crust community, so even the Walmart looked more stylish from the outside. The cars on the parking lot revealed a lot about the customers - Cadillacs, Volvos, SUVs, Hummers, Lincolns. It's apparent that even the well-to-do like to save money on everyday items!

We have a new Super Wal*Mart here in Lubbock that is upscale looking like that. I like to go there, even though it is probably ten miles further than the other Wal*Mart. It is so clean, but even the aisles are wider.

Question: do you get credit on your paid blogging just by mentioning one of the links, or do you get credit when someone clicks on the link?

The aisles in this new WM are very wide, which should make shopping a lot less nerve wracking. As for the links, the advertiser prefers they be clicked, of course, but I get paid to insert them even if they're not.
