Thinking ahead

One of the first things we've always done when we move is change all the outside locks. We don't want any previous residents walking in and nosing around. So, when I move again, I'll once again be shopping for door hardware so I'll have new locks and keys.

Since we'll be in town, I really want to be sure to do this and make sure our house is secure when we leave. I haven't had to worry much about that where I am now. There just aren't any problems of thieves out here. However, it's been many years since I lived in town and that makes everything different.
