The day after

Opening the store on Tuesday was far less eventful than it had been on Monday. That's the way I like it.

Son took me to work and other employees, who weren't even scheduled to work at that early hour, showed up to cruise around the parking lot and adjacent parking lots. No one was present, so we proceeded with opening. I really didn't figure the guy would be back today - maybe not ever - but we'll all be watching out a lot closer than we had previously. Of course, good opening and closing procedures help, but we'll all be a bit paranoid from now on, I think.

Working my shift was much more stressful, of course, I barely slept at all Monday night. Since I had fallen down while fleeing from the would-be robber, my back and hip hurt me al night Monday and all day Tuesday. I also discovered many sore muscles during the night and day - probably from the fall. I'm sure all of this will be resolved with time, though.
