Flea market finds

At least I did get to go to some flea markets on my second day off from work. I was keeping an eye open for a few things and found some of them. I was also checking the prices at a local "trade center" to see what it costs for a small submersible pump, a trickle charge solar panel, and an emergency stove that operates on propane. All were very reasonably priced and I'll be getting them in the next few weeks.

At other flea markets, I picked up a new-to-me steamer (mine gave out awhile back), a small lamp to put on my kitchen windowsill, and a vegetable shredder-chopper. I am thinking that the shredder-chopper will be handy for fresh herbs, to really get all the flavor out of them.

It took me from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to get that little bit of shopping done, but it takes me awhile to get through a flea market and really ponder my purchases. The fact is, though, whether I'm shopping for myself, for a baby shower, or for a birthday or Christmas gift, I find some of the best and most interesting things at flea markets.
