Wednesday adventures, part deux

After getting off work Wednesday morning, though I wasn't supposed to work at all, I headed over to the tire shop to get a couple of good used tires put on my truck. I've been noticing it bumping when I'm driving slowly in town, so I figured one of the tires was getting a knot on it. Since even the best acne treatments won't fix that, I knew I needed a tire.

When I got to the tire shop, the man told me I really needed two because there were wires showing on two of them. He said he could rotate the good tires to the back and put two used tires on the front for me. I've used this shop for years, so after getting a price quote, I had him do the work.

It was only about 45 minutes and he was finished so I headed up to Mom's. What a difference those tires made in the way it rode and drove on that trip. No bumping and no vibrations at highway speeds. I really need a new set of tires all the way around, but that will have to wait until I get some other things out of the way.
