One of those days?

Did you ever have one of those days? I'm talking about days when you try to use disinfectant spray for hair spray or hemorrhoid relief for toothpaste.I guess we all have them from time to time.

Like the time I made sugar cookies while I was at Mom's. However, the canister I thought was sugar actually contained canning salt. Yeah. Those were not very good cookies. This is one of the reasons I keep sugar in a canister that says "Sugar" on it.

A few weeks ago I bought what I though was liquid detergent for the laundry. It turned out to be fabric softener made by the same folks who make my favorite detergent. My clothes came out plenty soft, but not very clean. I didn't notice till I got home from doing laundry what my error was!

Several years ago I put a gallon container of milk away, then couldn't find it in the fridge later. I finally did find it - on a shelf in the broom closet, right next to the fridge.

The other day my cell phone rang. I tried to answer the DVD player remote. Another time it rang, and no one was there. It was the alarm going off.

My DVD player has a 5-disk changer. When I first tried to use it, I complained to son that it just wouldn't accept 5 DVDs. I felt pretty stupid after he showed me how to load them in. I'd been trying to put all 5 of them in the tray at once!

So far today has gone ok. I hope it stays that way!
