Chilly morning

Brrrrr! It got cold last night! And the house has stayed pretty chilly all morning. I even turned on the heater in the bathroom so I can comfortably take a shower before I head into town a little later.

I need to do laundry, then I go to work at 5. I close tonight, so it'll be a late night for me. I hope everyone who's scheduled shows up. One didn't the other night and it makes it hard on us closing to be shorthanded like that. It took us an extra hour to get out of there!

Even though it's going to be chilly and breezy the next few days, we've finally gotten enough rain for the local burn ban to be lifted. I don't burn anything anyway, but I had thought about building a fire in my fire pit some evenings and enjoying the outdoors. Couldn't do that until now.

I need to do a little rearranging to accommodate the heaters I have. They are the enclosed radiator style that are oil-filled. No open element wires. Still, they need some space around them to be efficient. The only problem with them is that with no fan, they don't always distribute the heat where I want it -- which is on my feet when it's really cold!
